Happy Birthday “Manner of Speaking”

It’s hard for me to believe, but today is the one year anniversary of this blog. What began as a leap into the (then) unknown blogosphere has proved to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

And apparently, the fact that Manner of Speaking has made it to the one year mark places it in the minority of blogs that are started. Well, after 130+ posts and 80,000+ visits, I have no intention of stopping, so buckle up: the ride has just begun!

If this blog has had staying power, it is because of all of the support, encouragement and feedback that I have had from readers like you. So a big THANK YOU from me. Please keep reading and do spread the word. I will continue to do my best to make it worth your time.

Well done John! I find your articles well researched, well constructed and very appealing, especially to public speakers. The quotes and detailed analysis of speech are the strengths of the blog.
