250,000 Visits

Sometime last night, Manner of Speaking passed the quarter-of-a-million mark for site visits. I didn’t expect to reach it so soon; however, the previous post with the quote by Homer Simpson seems to have gone mildly viral on StumbleUpon, gathering 15,000 views in three days. (Go figure, my most popular post comes courtesy of Homer Simpson. D’oh!)

My sincere thanks to all of you who have visited this blog. It has been a pleasure writing it. I am glad that so many of you find it useful, and greatly appreciate all the comments, emails, social media shares and constructive feedback.

Until the next post …

Hey, Rochelle. Thanks very much for the comment. I took a look at your site. Very eclectic and very cool. With five dynamic women churning out the posts, you should hit 250,000 in no time. Best of luck with it!

      Cheers!

Congratulations! Popped by not only to check out the latest postings but to share something I was told a couple of times in the Geneva Communicators Network event last week: “Were you here for the public speaking presentation by the Canadian lawyer – he was great!”

Unfortunately, I missed your presentation. Hopefully will get another chance to witness you in action in the future. Wanted anyhow to pass on the most sincere compliments (as people complimenting had no idea I might know you) :).

    Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much, Katja. And thanks for passing on the story about the GCN. I remember the audience well that day – around 80+ enthusiastic people who “got into” the presentation from the beginning. I had a great time working with them.

I look forward to when our paths cross next.

Thanks for the good wishes, Rich. Much appreciated. As for a post telling you how I did it, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait … I’m still trying to figure it out myself!

      Cheers!
