Robert Orben - American Magician, Author and Comedy Writer
Your quote “tombe à pic” as we say in French. Last night I watched a speech from J.K. Rowling that she gave in 2008 at Harvard commencement. http://vimeo.com/1711302.
I find her speech from the content side very strong and from the Toastmasters point of view the improving comments would be: read less, move more and increase the eye contact with the audience in order to involve them even more. However the message is so clear and strong why should she emphasize it even more?
Merci beaucoup, Gaëlle. Comme on dit en anglais, “timing is everything”. I will be sure to watch Rowling’s address when I have a moment. Thanks for sharing it with us.
